Our Story

It started with a simple frustration.

A few years ago, while traveling through Europe, we kept noticing the same pattern: beautiful towns and wild landscapes were either completely unknown or already ruined by mass tourism. The places we loved most were rarely mentioned online, and when they were, the magic somehow got lost in the noise.

So we decided to do something about it.

We began documenting the forgotten corners we fell in love with — secret alleys in Balkan cities, misty forests in Scotland, hidden shores on remote islands, and mountain villages where time moves differently. The more we explored, the clearer it became: there is still a whole world of genuine travel experiences waiting just beyond the well-trodden paths.

That’s how Mistbound was born.
